Resilience Grows Hope
Resilience Grows Hope explores how growth, resilience, and hope are intimately linked: resilience is not innate but develops through encounters with the unfamiliar, building strength and hope.
The mural creates a welcoming and uplifting visual experience that people can feel and understand without knowing exactly how or why. I aim to invite viewers to embrace an unfamiliar experience and inspire them to think about how to respond to the present and move forward even when the future is unknown.
This project was facilitated by the Patchogue Arts Council MoCA L.I., with funding made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts CHARM Initiative with support from the Office of the Governor.
